CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio (WJW) – Kenny Chesney is bringing his “Sun Goes Down” tour to the Blossom Music Center this summer.

As of Monday morning, the concert had not yet been announced on his website tour list.

Northeast Ohio concerts you shouldn’t miss in 2024

The country music star is known for huge stadium shows that organizers report have crashed ticket sites in the markets he’s performed, but this summer when the sun goes down, he’ll be groovin’ to a much smaller crowd.

“It takes a lot of work to put together a stadium-sized show, and that’s actually part of the fun.
But you can get so busy with all the details that go into a stadium show, it captures your focus… and then you look up, and you realize that there’s also this thing that’s smaller and more intimate, and you want that, too,” said Chesney in a LiveNation press release. “There is nothing like being out on the lawn with your friends, or even under the pavilion, on a clear night hearing the music and just being in the moment. You can do some things in that environment you can’t at a stadium. It’s less production, less massive, but there’s a real sense of connection that is undeniable.”

Two lucky Powerball tickets in Ohio not yet claimed

Kenny Chesney will perform at Blossom on Thursday, June 6.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 15.
