Here’s why #IBelieveFrederica is trending on Twitter right now
Following the fatal October 4th attack of 12 U.S. soldiers in Niger, Sgt. La David Johnson’s widow received a call from President Donald Trump. While on the call, Myeisha Johnson was on her way to identify her husband’s body with Florida Rep. Frederica Wilson. #IBelieveFrederica is now trending on Twitter — after Wilson claimed that President Trump stated to Ms. Johnson, “[Sgt. Johnson] must have known what he signed up for, but I guess it hurts anyway.”
Ms. Johnson had put President Trump on speakerphone, allowing Wilson to listen in. Trump denied Wilson’s claim after critics questioned his uncaring remark. But now the American public is battling over the he-said-she-said scenario using the trending hashtag.
.@realDonaldTrump-You & John Kelly owe Frederica Wilson an apology—resigning would be an acceptable apology #TrumpResign #IbelieveFrederica

Sgt. Johnson’s mother, Cowanda Jones-Johnson, was present for the first phone call from the White House to Myeisha, and she stands by Myeisha and Wilson’s claim regarding Trump’s irreverence toward the situation.
Jones-Johnson told The Washington Post, “President Trump did disrespect my son and my daughter and also me and my husband.”
Trump responded to Wilson’s allegations via Twitter, but did not elaborate on what proof he had that the conversation went otherwise. He and his supporters have since accused Wilson of politicizing a tragic event.
Democrat Congresswoman totally fabricated what I said to the wife of a soldier who died in action (and I have proof). Sad!

American citizens are now divided once more and are taking to Twitter to show their distaste for the opposing argument. There are now the believers —
Why #IBelieveFrederica? You ask..
Because this is not the first time this man has insulted a gold star family. pic.twitter.com/30wKoUs2fA— Abhishek Pratap (@Abhi5hekk) October 20, 2017

Congresswoman @RepWilson is a true leader who stands up for #GoldStarFamilies and I support her. Donald Trump is a liar. #IBelieveFrederica.

— and the nonbelievers.
#IBelieveFrederica did take a widow’s grief and a hero’s honor and made it about herself.

Liberals are now tweeting "#IBelieveFrederica." Of course they do, they also believe all of the lies the corrupt mainstream media puts out.

Unfortunately, this back and forth arguing isn’t going to change the Johnson family’s loss. Only those who were there for the conversation between Trump and Sgt. Johnson’s widow know the truth of what was said, and even then, there’s still no easy end to the debate.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families who lost loved ones during the Niger attack. And we hope for the sake of the Johnson family that peace amidst this uproar will be found soon.
