Dallas Cowboys legend Troy Aikman, a three-time Super Bowl champion quarterback, woke up Monday morning getting trolled after the Kansas City Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII.
It was due to a 2019 post on X, formally known as Twitter.
Aikman took exception to a post during Mahomes prior to the Chiefs quarterbacks’ meteoric rise , saying “Patrick Mahomes has thrown 36% of Troy Aikman’s career touchdowns, in about 8% of the games.”
Aikman responded in kind: “iCYMI: Talk to me when when he has 33% of my Super Bowl Titles.”

At that time Mahomes had no Super Bowl titles.
Now, that Mahomes has earned his third Super Bowl title and third Super Bowl MVP, Chiefs fans and the internet is pulling receipts on Aikman for his past post.
And they were endless. Here are just three:
Patrick Mahomes has thrown 132% of Troy Aikman’s passing touchdowns and won 100% of his Super Bowls in about 58% of his career games. https://t.co/nDvt975Iya

Narrator: Patrick Mahomes would go on to earn 100% of Troy Aikman’s Super Bowl Titles before turning 29 years old. https://t.co/ZWWjfSYQaC
