White Woman Uses Racial Slurs Against USPS Worker in Silicon Valley
A woman used racial slurs against a United States Postal Service (USPS) worker at a post office in Silicon Valley, California, video posted on July 23 shows.
Footage of the incident was captured by Tyler Brumfield, who said he was waiting in line when the woman began to yell at the postal worker, saying, “Can’t you just do your job? It’s simple.”
The woman goes on to explain what she needs done, followed by, “I have been in this country 38 years, I think I should know what I’m doing,” prompting Brumfield to say, “There we go, we were waiting for that one.” Another woman in line says she is going to call the police.
The worker walks out of the frame and the woman utters an anti-Asian slur under her breath, sparking expressions of disapproval from several people standing in line.
“Not appropriate, absolutely not,” one patron tells the woman. Brumfield can be heard saying, “Whoa, whoa, that’s not acceptable.”
As the woman walks out of the post office, she calls the USPS worker a “b****” and repeats the slur.
