White Sox bring back CPS Appreciation Days, free tickets for CPS families and employees

CHICAGO — The Chicago White Sox announced the return of Chicago Public School appreciation days Thursday, where CPS families and employees can fill out an online form to receive complimentary free tickets to three upcoming home games at Guaranteed Rate Field.

CPS Appreciation Day Games

  • March 31 vs. Detroit at 1:10 p.m. (Magnetic Schedule giveaway to first 25,000 fans)

  • Monday, April 1 vs. Atlanta at 1:10 p.m.

  • Tuesday, April 2 vs. Atlanta at 6:40 p.m. ($5 Tuesday promotion)

According to the White Sox, Households can secure their tickets on a first-come, first-served basis by completing the form at whitesox.com/cps. The offer is available while supplies last.

Registration provides up to four tickets for each CPS family (subject to availability) with a limit of one form submission per household. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by the parent or legal guardian (age 18+) who completed the registration form.

Tickets will be available for pick up on the day of the selected game at ticket windows near Gate 5. A valid CPS ID (or state ID or Chicago driver’s license) must be provided to receive the tickets. Tickets are not transferable and cannot be resold. Form submissions are open now through Monday, March 18 at 12 p.m. CT, while supplies last.

Opening Day for the White Sox is set for Thursday, March 28 against the Detroit Tigers, with first pitch set for 3:10 p.m. CST.
