White House Teams Up with Athletes for Violence Against Women PSA

President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden star in a new White House public service announcement featuring famous professional athletes for prevention of violence against women.

As part of Biden's "1is2Many" initiative that launched last year, the PSA features Jeremy Lin, Eli Manning and David Beckham as well as Major League Baseball's Joe Torre, Evan Longoria, and Jimmy Rollins and ESPN’s Andy Katz.

The minute-long message is set to air this summer and is aimed at young men.

"We thought the best way to get the truth out was to make sure young men hear from other men they respect,” wrote Cynthia Hogan, deputy assistant to the president and counsel to the vice president, wrote in a White House blog post.
