White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre will deliver a daily press briefing Monday afternoon.

President Biden is continuing an accelerated domestic travel schedule as he seeks to make his case for reelection at appearances before key constituencies. Last week, the president visited the Western swing states of Nevada and Arizona before stopping for fundraisers in Texas.

This week, Biden will visit North Carolina, a state former President Trump carried in 2020 by 1.3 percentage points. Recent polling has shown Trump with a wider lead over Biden among 2024 Tar Heel State voters — anywhere from 3 points to 12 points.

Monday’s briefing is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. EDT.
