White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is set to deliver the daily press briefing Thursday afternoon.

The event comes after President Biden spoke by phone with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding the Israeli strike that killed a group of aid workers in Gaza amid its ongoing war with Hamas militants. Following the call, White House officials have signaled there will be no change to their policy toward Israel in the wake of the latest incident.

Additionally, the Biden administration is expected to announce an extension of work permits for certain categories of immigrants, potentially preventing hundreds of thousands of people from losing their jobs overnight.

The briefing is scheduled for 2 p.m. EDT.
