When and where to celebrate high school graduations in the Wilmington area

As the 2023-24 school year is wrapping up, friends and families are looking forward to seeing their loved ones walk across the stage. We have compiled a list of high school graduations for public schools in New Hanover, Brunswick and Pender counties for those hoping to support the class of 2024.

May 16

Southeast Area Technical High School: 3 p.m. at Cape Fear Community College Wilson Center

Pender Early College: 5 p.m. at Cape Fear Community College Wilson Center

Wilmington Early College High School: 7 p.m. at Cape Fear Community College Wilson Center

May 17

Brunswick Early College High School: 5 p.m. at Odell Williamson Auditorium, 150 College Road NE

Isaac Bear Early College High School: 6:30 p.m. at UNCW's Kenan Auditorium

Heide Trask High School: 9 a.m. at the school football stadium (rain date May 31)

Topsail High School: 6:30 p.m. at the school football stadium (rain date 9 a.m. May 31)

May 31

Pender High School: 6 p.m. at the school football stadium (rain date 9 a.m. June 1)

June 3

North Brunswick High School: 9 a.m. at the school football stadium (In event of rain, there will be a two-hour delay, and if it keeps raining, the graduation will be in the school’s gymnasium.)

June 4

South Brunswick High School: 9 a.m. at the school football stadium (In the event of rain, graduation will be delayed an hour or two that day.)

June 5

West Brunswick High School: 9 a.m. at the school football stadium (In event of rain, graduation will be at 6 p.m. in the school gymnasium.)

Career Readiness Academy at Mosley: 6 p.m. at Snipes Academy Auditorium

June 6

Laney High School: 6 p.m. at the school football stadium (Rain location is the school gymnasium.)

Ashley High School: 7 p.m. at the school football stadium (Rain location is the gymnasium.)

June 7

Hoggard High School: 6 p.m. at the school football stadium (Rain location is the gymnasium.)

New Hanover High School: 6 p.m. at Legion Stadium (Rain location will be Brogden Hall.)
