Where is Cabana Live? The Florida venue is where NFL player, 9 others may have been shot

Updates are still pouring in 24 hours after 10 people were shot at a waterside bar in Sanford shortly after midnight Sunday morning.

Upon arrival, deputies heard multiple gunshots originating from the rear of Cabana Live. A 16 year-old boy was arrested and faces four charges related to the shooting.

One of the people injured may have been Houston Texans wide receiver and Daytona Beach native Tank Dell.

Where is Cabana Live?

Cabana Live is a waterside bar located at 4380 Carraway Place in unincorporated Sanford, roughly 23 miles outside of downtown Orlando. It is found alongside the St. Johns River in Seminole County.

The entertainment venue is housed on a small inlet of the St. Johns River near the Lake Monroe Bridge with live sports coverage, music, dining, and a pool.

The venue had been reserved for a private event, according to Cabana Live's Facebook post.

What led to the shooting in Cabana Live on Sunday night?

The Seminole County Sheriff's Office told local media in a statement that due to the large number of people there deputies were patrolling the area around the establishment when they heard gunshots and saw the crowd dispersing.

Seminole County Sheriff's Office investigators told reporters that a verbal altercation escalated and that the shooter shot 10 people before being apprehended by a security officer working at the venue.

Who was the shooter at Cabana Live? 16-year-old is in custody

According to an arrest report, a 16-year-old suspect was arrested for the shooting inside Cabana Live. USA TODAY Sports reported he has been charged with four counts, including attempted homicide and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

The suspect was booked into the Juvenile Detention Center, officials said.

Who was injured in the Sanford shooting in Cabana Live?

Florida Today reported Sunday that 10 people were injured in the Cabana Live shooting, including Dell. The victims suffered non-life-threatening wounds, mostly to the lower extremities, deputies said.

The Houston Texans posted on social media that "Tank Dell was a victim of a shooting in Sanford, Fla. last night.

"He sustained a minor wound but has been released from the hospital and is in good spirits," the post said. The Texans said they were in contact with Dell and his family and would provide more information later.

'Appreciate all the prayers and concerns' Cabana Live addresses the shooting

In the aftermath of the shooting, Cabana Live posted a statement to their Facebook.

"As most of you have heard, there was an incident outside our establishment last night. We are cooperating with the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office and praying for all those involved. We reserved our venue out for a private event and we are still learning as the investigation continues what was the cause of this isolated incident," their statement says.

"Our Cabana Live family is 100% safe and appreciate all the prayers and concerns. We are open our normal business hours."
