What's coming to Fayetteville's dining and retail scene? Coffee, barbecue, hydration therapy

Fayetteville will soon welcome several additions to the dining and retail scene.

Among them are a drive-thru coffee shop, a shopping center, a hydration wellness center and a barbecue restaurant.

Permit granted to Clutch Coffee Bar on Ramsey Street

Building permits were granted earlier this month for a drive-thru only Clutch Coffee Bar at 3619 Ramsey St. Construction of the 850-square-foot freestanding building follows the demolition of the Laser Clean car wash previously on the half-acre property.

Clutch Coffee Bar was founded in 2018 in Mooresville. The chain serves hot, iced and frozen coffee drinks, tea, smoothies, shakes and juices at seven locations in the Carolinas.

Dining and retail center proposed at Cliffdale at Skibo roads

City officials reviewed plans Oc. 25 for a dining and retail shopping center on Cliffdale Road. Situated on nearly 2 acres, the proposed center would include seven, 1,625-square-foot spaces, one of which would have an outdoor patio.

The development is proposed for a parcel of land just west of the Cliffdale Square shopping center, home to Japanese, Indian and German restaurants locals have long cherished.
