Sweet Bellingham for sale

Sweet Bellingham, a dessert shop and bakery in Fairhaven, has posted a “for sale” sign in its window.

The sign did not specify any information or price, but reads “for information, please leave name and phone inside.”

Texas Roadhouse progresses toward opening

Texas Roadhouse, the chain BBQ restaurant planned to open at 4331 Meridian St., the previous location of Billy McHale’s Restaurant, is slowly working toward opening.

Although construction isn’t planned to start until the spring, the new restaurant has now posted job openings online.

Those who are interested can check the job listings online.

Buffalo Exchange 50th anniversary pop-up event

Buffalo Exchange, a chain recycled clothing store, is celebrating its 50th anniversary at all of its locations across the country, including Bellingham.

The Bellingham store will host a pop-up event from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, March 16 and Sunday, March 17 that will include live music, coffee from Makeworth Coffee Roasters, tarot readings, treats and shopping.

Buffalo Exchange is at 1209 N State St. in Bellingham and is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.

Raven Bakery celebrates anniversary

Raven Bakery’s brick and mortar shop is celebrating its one-year anniversary on Saturday, March 16. The bakery will give away free cake to the first three dozen customers and host a raffle with a prize of one bread loaf every week for a year. The bakery will also donate $1 from every load of bread sold in March to the World Central Kitchen, a non-profit that provides meals to those in need during natural disasters.

Raven Bakery is open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday at 205 Prospect St. in Bellingham.
