New Whataburger opening Monday in San Angelo, prizes for first 100 guests

The new Whataburger is opening in San Angelo next week with prizes for the first guests.

The fourth Whataburger will be opening 11 a.m. Monday at 5855 Sherwood Way in front of Kohl's.

"Whataburger is bringing its fresh, customized burgers, Fancy and Spicy Ketchup, and orange-and-white-striped fun to its newest location in San Angelo," according to a news release from the fast-food chain.

The release said the restaurant pays respect to Whataburger’s history while looking to the future with a forward-thinking design.

"Features include a spacious dining room with a custom mural featuring San Angelo’s hometown landmarks," according to the release. "Digital menu boards are also available inside and outside, and there is a double drive-thru to best serve guests."

The Whataburger team of 60 employees will be led by Operating Partner Bryanna Hernandez.

"It (the restaurant) is ready to serve the community with 24-hour service in the dining room and drive-thru, curbside with the Whataburger App, or delivery through the app," the release stated.

There will be prizes for the first 100 guests.
