WGN’s own Brónagh Tumulty leads Tinley Park Irish Parade

TINLEY PARK, Ill. — The 24th annual Tinley Park Irish Parade kicked off on Sunday afternoon, and it was led by one of WGN’s Very Own.

Brónagh Tumulty, a native of Ireland, was the Grand Marshal for the parade, which got underway at 1 p.m. and ran along Oak Park Avenue through downtown Tinley Park.

In addition to floats and marching groups, the parade included live entertainment and, of course, Irish music.

There was also a sensory-friendly quiet zone available at the start of the parade for those who wanted to enjoy the parade without the noise.
