Westlake Target kidnapping suspect arrested, police say
A woman who was caught on camera trying to kidnap a 4-year-old child in Westlake on Sunday has been taken into custody, police said.
The woman, who tried to grab the child at a Target at 620 S. Virgil Ave., has been captured, according to the Los Angeles Police Department, though officers did not confirm when or where the arrest took place.

Officials have not released her identity, but they had been searching for her since the Sunday incident, when she allegedly grabbed a 4-year-old child and carried him outside the store, only putting the child down when confronted by the boy’s parents.
She then fled the scene on foot.
