3 adults, 1 child hurt in West Carson Street crash
Three adults and one child were hurt in a four-vehicle crash in Pittsburgh’s South Shore Thursday evening.
First responders were called to the 1400 block of West Carson Street at 6:45 p.m., Allegheny County 911 confirmed.
Initial investigation shows a driver lost control of their vehicle while coming off the West End Bridge, Pittsburgh police said.
Several of the vehicles involved were badly damaged. A Channel 11 crew at the scene saw one vehicle on its roof.
Three drivers and a child were taken to local hospitals and are in stable condition.
West Carson Street was closed in both directions for nearly two hours. It reopened at 8:20 p.m.
The crash is still under investigation.
