Police situation resolved in Wellington
DENVER (KDVR) — The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office issued a 911 Alert for police activity in Wellington, but the situation has been resolved.
On Tuesday at 10:40 a.m., the sheriff’s office posted on X that police were in the 7800 block of Elder Circle. Wellington is north of Fort Collins in Larimer County.
Deputies said they responded to a report of a possible residential burglary.

Those living on Elder Cirlce and the west side of First Street between Elder Circle on the north and south side were asked to lock their doors and windows and take shelter by remaining inside their homes.
At around noon, the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office said the situation had been resolved and those in the area could resume activities as normal.
