1 person stabbed to death; 1 in custody in Central EP

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — An adult man was stabbed to death in Central El Paso on Monday, March 11 and one person is in custody, according to an El Paso Police spokesperson.

At about 4:15 p.m., officers were sent out to the 2900 block of Porter Avenue on a welfare check.

There, they found an adult man, no age given, who had been stabbed laying in an alleyway,.

The victim was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries, police said.

One person, described as man in his late 50s, is in custody.

Police said the investigation is continuing.

The general public is not in any danger from the incident, police said.
