On Martha and Snoop's Potluck Dinner Party, they really put the pot in potluck.

Technically, it's a cooking competition show, but that's primarily just a method of assigning some kind of structure to a show about famous people hanging out with each other and giving fans insights on their lifestyles. So naturally, weed comes up a lot.

On the first episode, in which Snoop and Martha battle in the kitchen to determine whose fried chicken is more lit, Wiz Khalifa, Ice Cube and Seth Rogen stop by to judge the competition, but mostly chat. The set, a kitchen before a live audience, is decked out with illuminated green plants.

Over cocktails — featuring gin and juice, duh — we learn about their lives. Wiz and Snoop, apparently, went on a journey to rid their bodies of toxins together, and Stewart has killed a chicken herself. "I fed it some vodka and then I cut off its head," she reveals, as casually as if she were describing a napkin ring D.I.Y. project.

The duo and their celebrity guests play up their differences. Stewart isn't as innocent as she pretends, and Snoop, who has been very rich for a very long time, is obviously more accustomed to Stewart's lifestyle than he lets on.

They're not fooling anyone, though, because we all know that Snoop and Martha have totally gotten high together.  Here are 13 references to pot in the pilot alone.

1. The show opens with Snoop and Martha in bed together. "I'm not high right now, but whoever gave us this show, they must have been," he declares.

2. "The king of cush and the queen of cuisine are throwing a little dinner party," says Snoop, explaining the premise of the show.

3. "When you mix the best of high society," says Martha. "With the best of high society," adds Snoop, "you never know what's going to pop off."

4. "He's definitely the type of neighbor you want to have around when you're looking for that sticky, icky icky," endorses Snoop as he introduces Seth Rogen.

5. Rogen, ever the gracious guest, gifts the hosts with a fire extinguisher because, "A lot of us smoke."

5. Snoop also has a glowing recommendation of the episode's second guest, Wiz Khalifa. "He's got a blossoming cannabis line called Khalifa Kush, which I use personally."

6. Yes, Khalifa shows up with a gift bag full of, "extra seasoning."

7. "It's just like that," insists Snoop, comparing KK (Khalifa Kush) to Martha's rosemary, thyme and basil.

8. "I don't know who's going to be more fried by the end of this show," muses Martha pointedly. "My chicken or your chicken."

9. "You smoked weed in the White House, did you not?" inquires Rogen. "Careful Snoop, you know the drones is flying around." warns the show's DJ. "Yeah, no snitching man," advises Khalifa. But Snoop doesn't exactly deny it either, telling Rogen,"I'll make that happen for you."

10. "It's a piece of weed in there," says Snoop, showing off a piece of his fried chicken.

11. Snoop asks the guests to join him in prayer before the meal, asking God to "watch out for Martha, cause she's about to lose, because his chicken is soaked in chronic and booze." Cue Rogen's constant stream of giggles.

12. In a special fried chicken version of Two Truths and a Lie called Two Truths and a Thigh, everyone has to guess whether or not Snoop has actually smoked a one pound blunt. (He hasn't.)

13. Anderson Paak closed the show with "Come Down" which is about, you know, potentially getting too high.

Martha and Snoop's Potluck Dinner Party premieres on VH1 on Nov. 7 at 10 p.m. EST.
