As quickly as we posted the news about the divorce claims that are currently surrounding Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, the American actor has (thankfully) extinguished them!

Rumours of the couples split have been travelling around the gossip circuit for months but today, a false claim had been made that they had reached a “top secret divorce settlement” and would be announcing their separation by the end of the summer.

Even though Will wouldn’t usually respond to such speculation… and boy, there has been A LOT… he felt inclined to jump in when people started sending him their “deepest condolences”.

The 46-year old wrote on his official Facebook page: “Under normal circumstances, I don’t usually respond to foolishness. (Because it’s contagious) But, so many people have extended me their ‘deepest condolences’ that I figured – ‘What the hell… I can be foolish, too!’”

He continued, “So, in the interest of redundant, repetitious, over & over-again-ness… Jada and I are… NOT GETTING A DIVORCE!!!!!!!!!!!!! : -)”

“I promise you all – if I ever decide to divorce my Queen – I SWEAR I’ll tell you myself! #‎Dumb People Should Have to Wear Scarlet D’s.”

YAY!

Just give us a moment whilst we do a happy dance…

…anddd, we’re done.

To support her husband, Jada Pinkett Smith also tweeted, “My king has spoken.”

Will ‘The King’ Smith’s outburst comes in response to earlier rumours that the couple were ending their 17 year marriage and had agreed on a secret settlement to “protect their $240 million fortune”, which we now know to be as true as the existence of unicorns…

We’re kidding, unicorns are totally real.

The good news is that the ‘happy union’ between Mr and Mrs Smith is not a façade at all and we can now sleep happy.
