STOCKHOLM - Participants of an international conference on climate science say delegates have finished talks on a landmark report on global warming and are ready to formally adopt the document.
The talks in Stockholm lasted until the early morning Friday as members of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change wrangled over the wording of the report, which is expected to say that it's more certain than ever that global warming is man-made and to raise its previous projections of sea level rise.
One participant said: "They've got an agreement."
Another participant said delegates had finished the line-by-line editing of the report and were getting ready to formally adopt it.
The participants spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly before the formal approval of the report.
