Students learned the difference between a tornado watch and a tornado warning. She compared this to making a cookie; or a cookie watch and warning.

A watch is issued when you have the ingredients to make the cookie; this is when you have your plan in place. When the cookie comes out of the oven and is ready to eat a warning is issued; you need to take action!

When discussing weather safety, every student knew the safest place to be during severe storms and tornadoes.

Students saw Storm Hunter 19 and took photos before Jessica returned to the station.
