Wayne County Board of Elections to present five-session Voter Academy

The Wayne County Board of Elections will present Voter Academy, a series of five one-hour classes offering a deep look at the process of elections in Wayne County.

The goal is to provide the community with information that will dispel some of the misconceptions surrounding elections. Each class will cover a specific area. Participants who attend all five sessions will receive a certificate of completion.

The class dates and subjects are:

  • May 28 – Voter registration and data

  • June 18 – Voting equipment and security

  • July 23 – Candidates and issues

  • Aug. 20 – Absentee and provisional voting

  • Sept. 24 – Election logistics

The classes will be held in the Metzler Room at the Board of Elections, 200 Vanover St., Wooster. Participation is free, but pre-registration is required. Register at www.WayneCountyOH.gov/academy or by calling 330-287-5480.
