Watkins Glen man pleads guilty to Nov. trailer theft

WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. (WETM) — A Watkins Glen man pleaded guilty on Thursday to an incident back in November where county officials say he had stolen property in his possession.

According to the Schuyler County District Attorney’s Office, 38-year-old Kyle K. Rogers pleaded guilty on Thursday, April 11, to the charge of criminal possession of stolen property in the third degree, a class D felony.

Rogers was sentenced as a second felony offender to two and a half to five years in state prison.

Documents say the charge comes from Rogers having a trailer that was reported stolen to New York State Police back in November 2023 worth around $10,000.
