In a letter sent to parents Tuesday, the district said samples taken from the water bottle filler at the fieldhouse were negative for Legionella.

The district said although the cultural analysis was negative they are still taking precautions such as hyper-chlorinating and installing bacterial filters on the water bottle filter and ice machine in the fieldhouse.

The sinks and showers in the field house will be out of order until the district said they receive the results of follow-up samples.
