Water main break in Blacksburg causes outages

BLACKSBURG, Va. (WFXR) — Blacksburg officials warn residents that they will experience water outages after a water main break on Tuesday morning.

Town of Blacksburg officials say the break is on Wharton Street between the intersections of Clay Street and Lee Street. As crews work to make repairs, water in this area will turn off around 11:30 a.m. on May 21.

Once the repair is complete, water will be restored. However, it is unclear how long repairs will take.
