Water interruptions expected in Athens due to utility work

ATHENS, Texas (KETK) – The City of Athens announced that some residents my experience an interruption in their water service on Thursday during some utility repairs.

According to a statement, the 300 block of West Corsicana Street, the 100 and 200 blocks of South Pinkerton will face interruptions in water service starting at 9 p.m. on Thursday while repairs are being made.

The temporary outage will affect residents from South Pinkerton Street to Hawn Street, the south and north sides of West Corsicana Street and South Pinkerton from Larue to West Corsicana Street.
