Water boil advisory rescinded for St. Marys

TOPEKA (KSNT) – The Kansas Department of Health and Environment has rescinded the boil water advisory for the St. Marys on Tuesday.

On Thursday, April 18, the KDHE issued a water boil advisory for St. Marys after a round of severe storms. The water boil water advisory impacted residents living north of Elm Street in St. Marys.

According to the KDHE, the advisory was issued because a power outage resulted in a loss of pressure in the system. Laboratory results have indicated that there is no bacterial contamination and all other issues have been resolved.
