As part of Fan Fest, the Texas Rangers had fans record videos explaining what the World Series title meant to them that was to be shown to players during spring training.

Rangers players had a pleasant surprise for the fans recording videos. They were actually in the room next to the fans, listening to their responses.

After the fans were done “recording,” Rangers players revealed themselves to the fans’ delight. The Rangers who were featured in the video were Josh Jung, Travis Jankowski and Josh Sborz.

One Josh Jung superfan predicted that the sophomore third baseman would win an MVP right before Jung surprised him face-to-face.

“Well I hope one day I can make that happen,” Jung said in response to the fan.

Jankowski said he was moved by what winning the World Series meant to fans and the community.

The Rangers held Fan Fest on Jan. 27 at Globe Life Field to celebrate the team and their fans with special promotions, autograph sessions and photos with the Commissioners Cup among other activities.

This year’s Fan Fest had special meaning because it was on the heels of the Texas Rangers winning the World Series for the first time in franchise history.

Many of the fans thanked the Rangers players for bringing them a World Series title and spoke about how they bonded with loved ones over the Rangers.

The Rangers released their video surprising the fans on X, formally Twitter, on Tuesday, the video has already amassed 10,000 views.
