Pittsburgh Steelers defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick's interception of Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow was a rare lowlight for the home team during the first half Sunday at Paul Brown Stadium.
Burrow got tangled up with Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt during Fitzpatrick's return, and Watt took Burrow to the ground - resulting in pushing and shoving involving both teams.
"He was just blocking me. I told him, 'Nice block,'" Burrow told reporters after the game.
"I don't think that he would have blocked anyone else on the field in the same manner. I don't know the rules to that extent. I don't like seeing my quarterback hit like that," Bengals offensive lineman Jonah Williams said of Watt's block.
On Monday, the Steelers placed Watt on the Reserve/COVID-19 List.
Burrow and the Bengals led the Steelers 31-3 at the half, thanks in part to Burrow's first-quarter touchdown run, his TD pass to Tee Higgins early in the second quarter and former Steelers defensive back Mike Hilton's interception return for a score late in the first half.
Burrow's day was over early in the fourth quarter of the Bengals' 41-10 rout of Pittsburgh, having completed 20 of his 24 attempts for 190 yards with the TD run, the TD pass and the interception.

HUGE in the locker room when team reviews game film and sees your franchise QB fighting for his team. Can’t overstate how big this goes over in a locker room. Not surprised by Joe doing it either. https://t.co/RKD1eJMCcp

TJ Watt then grabs and throws Burrow well after the play and the officials don't throw a flag, so Taylor is laying into officials after he didn't like the OPI call or the lack of protection for his QB after the pick.
