LYNDHURST, Ohio (WJW) — Lyndhurst police released body camera video to the FOX 8 I-Team Friday showing the arrest of a woman accused of stealing from a cancer fund.

Stacie LaRiccia was arrested March 15 when she was leaving her home for work. She was advised officers had a warrant for her arrest for theft.

She asked, “for what?”

An officer did not go into specifics during the arrest.

Lyndhurst police said LaRiccia stole from a 5K fundraiser held for Brush High School Principal Michael Fording, who was battling cancer.

The money raised was to go to University Hospitals for cancer research and to Fording’s family to help with medical bills.
