Watch President Obama Dance to Drake's "Hotline Bling" With Usher

"Our president ran out to jump in a circle and dance to [Drake] w/ his hands in the air."

Last night on the South Lawn of the White House, President Barack Obama hosted BET's "Love and Happiness: A Musical Experience," an event that included performances from Usher, The Roots, De La Soul, and plenty of others.

During the quality of the performers present, though, it was the studio version of Drake's "Hotline Bling" that really go the POTUS moving. During a DJ set from D-Nice, the song played, and Usher got video (above) of the President busting some reserved but enthusiastic dance moves to the song. Angie Martinez of Roc Nation was there as well, and described the scene in an Instagram post: "In the middle of it all our president ran out to jump in a circle and dance to @champagnepapi w/ his hands in the air. All while a gigantic painting of George Washington hovered over the dance floor. "

Obama also spoke at the event, talking about the history of American music and the events the White House has hosted to honor it, so check out his 15-minute speech below.
