ROCKVILLE, Md. (DC News Now) — The Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD) released surveillance video of suspects in an armed robbery at a 7-Eleven in Rockville.

MCPD said that on May 13, officers with Rockville City Police responded to the 7-Eleven in the 1700 block of Rockville Pike around 1:25 p.m. for a reported armed robbery.

Officers said that two men had demanded that an employee working behind the counter hand over money. One of the men implied that he was armed with a gun.

The employee opened the cash registers, and the man who appeared to be armed stole money from it. The other man stole merchandise before both of them left, MCPD said.
