Maybe it’s because he knew he wouldn’t be playing for long, maybe it’s because he always likes to stay loose, maybe it’s because, let’s face it, one of the best pop songs of the 1990s was flooding the air – but Washington’s Kirk Cousins wasn’t holding back on Thursday night walking onto the field in Baltimore with his fellow quarterbacks:

Cousins switched into a high-pitched voice to sing the chorus of Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody,” the clicking of his cleats on the cement inside the M&T Bank Stadium providing some percussion.

Cousins has given us some pretty good moments behind the scenes – most memorably shouting, “You like that!” as he came off the field after bringing Washington back from a 24-0 hole against Tampa Bay to win, 31-10.

Given that Washington was down 20-3 after three quarters to the Baltimore Ravens, we tend to agree with Fox 5 DC reporter Brody Logan: Cousins’ singing was the most entertaining part of the night, especially for Washington fans.
