WATCH: Jets accidentally tap wings during Florida air show

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A spectator captured the terrifying moment two jets tapped wings during a performance at the Fort Lauderdale Air Show on Sunday.

The Polaris Ghost Squadron was performing an aerial maneuver where four jets flew in formation at the time of the incident, according to NBC affiliate WTVJ.

A jet tapped another with its wing, sending both planes out of formation as the pilots regained control. The incident caused the show to briefly stop as a precaution.
