Watch a hotel rip Trump's name off its sign

Owners of the Trump International Hotel and Tower in Panama ripped Trump's name off the front of their building on Monday.

Orestes Fintiklis, who purchased the majority share of the building in August, had the Trump Organization removed from the building on Monday after a Panamanian court ruled in favor of Fintiklis taking over the hotel's administration, the New York Times reports

The Trump Organization had a long-term contract to manage the property, but the owners of the hotel attempted to fire Trump's company last year, blaming dwindling revenue and increased vacancy rates on Trump's company. The Organization then refused to leave the premises.

“This is a purely commercial dispute that just spun out of control,” Fintiklis told reporters on Monday. “And today this dispute has been settled by the judges and the authorities of this country.”

If Fintiklis celebrating the win by playing piano in the hotel lobby for reporters wasn't enough celebration, the owners later ripped T-R-U-M-P off of the front of the building with a hammer and crowbar.

Tourists were later seen posing next to the sign, where an outline of Trump's name could still be seen.
