WATCH: Head-shaving event for cancer research

(WJW) – All day long, dozens of doctors, nurses, patients, and family members are lining up to have their heads shaved.

Friday, March 8, is UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital‘s 13th annual St. Baldrick’s head-shaving event. To date, organizers said it has raised nearly $1 million for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation — a program dedicated to childhood cancer research.

The tradition continues. Supporters will be at the Trisha O’Brien Pavilion from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. Friday.
