Watch Gigi Hadid Land Dream Gig As Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Model

The annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is one of the most highly-anticipated events of the year – in the style calendar at least.
It showcases the world’s leading models and boasts performances from some of the top music artists. Basically, it’s an event we wish we all had FROW seats at.
Last year, Karlie Kloss and Candice Swanepoel celebrated walking in their first VS show and now Gigi Hadid has revealed she’s made the cut.
The 20-year-old reality star took to Instagram to share her reaction to the news that she’ll walk in the show. She posted a black and white snapshot of the moment she was told the news, explaining in the caption that she “couldn’t keep back [her] tears.”
“Anyone that grew up with me knows that getting this show has been a dream of mine forever! THANK YOU @victoriassecret & @ed_razek! One of the happiest moments of my life. #vsfashionshow2015 (sic),” Hadid wrote.

In an IG video posted by Victoria’s Secret, you can see Hadid’s sheer joy at being cast for the presentation. The model can be seen demonstrating her walk in just her underwear, after which she’s told by the company’s senior creative, Ed Razek, that she’s hired.
“What are you doing on November 9th and 10th?” Razek is heard asking Hadid. To which she responds, “I don’t know.” Razek then asks the blonde-haired model to “come join us”, causing Hadid to fall to the floor in joy.

This gig proves how far Hadid has come in the last few years. This year alone, she’s walked in some of the biggest fashion shows including Balmain, Tommy Hilfiguer and Versace.
She’s also been on the cover of numerous magazines and attended THE hottest parties, usually with her BFF Kendall Jenner or boyfriend Joe Jonas on her arm.

The 2015 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will definitely be worth watching – we’re practically counting down the days.
It’ll include performances from Selena Gomez, Rihanna and The Weeknd and other models walking include Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Behati Prinsloo, Candice Swanepoel and Lily Aldridge.
