After abandoning the big screen for an entire year, Pixar is back with not one, but two original feature length films in 2015. Inside Out will hit theaters in just a few weeks, and then in November, the studio will return with The Good Dinosaur, a project which lost its first director two years ago.

The premise of The Good Dinosaur is pretty simple: what would the world be like if a meteor never killed the dinosaurs millions of years ago? Maybe an Apatosaurus named Arlo would befriend a human. Maybe they’d go on a big adventure and discover something about themselves and each other in the process.
There has been plenty of behind-the-scenes drama at Pixar since the heyday of Up and Wall-E, but early reactions have been extremely positive for Inside Out. It would be great to see Pixar return to form this year and give us something to look forward to other than comic book movies.
