Watch the First Trailer for "The Last Jedi" Right Here
It's been a long wait, but it's finally here. Disney just released the very first trailer for Rian Johnson's Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Although we still have more than half-a-year of waiting until we can see the full film, that doesn't mean we won't be obsessing over every single nano-second of this trailer until the next one drops.
As we expected, the trailer picks up pretty much right where we left off. Rey and Luke talk about the nature of the Force with Luke essentially adopting a full-on Yoda persona, even saying familiar phrases from our favorite green Jedi master. We see Leia, a shattered Kylo Ren mask, Finn, Poe, explosions, space battles, lightsabers, and then Luke's ominous voice declaring "I only know one truth...it's time for the Jedi to end," an obvious hat tip the film's title. Of course, it seems strange that Luke would then go on to train Rey, so who knows!
This trailer definitely creates more questions than answers. December 15th never felt so far away.
