Watch: Dramatic videos capture Iran's fierce aerial attack on Israel
Iran initiated a substantial attack on Israel, deploying hundreds of missiles and drones in a significant overnight offensive. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that together with its partners, it intercepted 99% of the aerial threats, which included approximately 170 drones and over 150 cruise and ballistic missiles launched by Iran and its allies.

Another video, according to the Times of Israel's military correspondent, appears to show the interception of a ballistic target outside the earth's atmosphere, likely by the Arrow 3 anti-ballistic missile system.

After the attack, Tehran warned that it would respond with more force if Tel Aviv retaliated for the strikes, which came in response to an Israeli attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus, Syria, earlier this month that killed seven senior Iranian military officers.
