Three of the crash victims, including one who had to be extricated from a vehicle, were taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden.

Caraballo, who died at Cooper, was the father of three, a grandfather and a great-grandfather, an obituary said..

"Angel loved playing music and was extremely skilled at playing the guitar and the cuatro," it noted.

A cuatro is a small guitar popular in Caraballo's native Puerto Rico.

Tucker also was taken to a hospital for treatment after the crash. He currently is in Camden County Jail.

Tucker initially was charged with three counts of assault by auto. One charge was upgraded to death by auto after toxicology results on Aug. 24 showed Tucker's blood alcohol concentration had been above the legal limit.

The charges against Tucker are only allegations. He has not been convicted in the case.
