Washington State Student Earns Internship on ‘Tonight Show’ With Creative Rap Video

Jake Sirianni is a student at Washington State University and had recently applied to be an intern on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. To help his chances of being selected, Jake edited a clip of Daniel Radcliffe rapping Blackalicious’s “Alphabet Aerobics” on The Tonight Show back in 2014. He rewrote the song and inserted himself into it, rapping his new lyrics over Radcliffe.

With lyrics like, “Optimistic, obedient, and a trend setter, need more information please read my cover letter” and “Here’s my declaration: dedicated, diligent, and driven. Lookin’ for an intern? Well, I recommend you listen,” Jake set himself apart from the other applicants.

So Jimmy made the Washington State student an offer he couldn’t refuse. He said, “Jake, if you’re watching, and you better be watching … the answer is yes. Pack your bags, buddy. I’ll see you this summer, baby!”

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. on NBC. Watch clips and full episodes of The Tonight Show for free on Yahoo View.
