Warrant issued for woman accused of shooting at after-hours club: I-Team

EUCLID, Ohio (WJW) — Euclid police have issued a felonious assault warrant for a 23-year-old woman accused of shooting multiple people at an after-hours club.

Detectives are searching for Kayla Lewis of Cleveland.

According to police, the shootings happened in the early morning hours of March 16  at the private business located in the 19500 block of St. Clair Avenue, during a large “social gathering.”

“It was a mass shooting,” said Euclid Chief Scott Meyer. “There were multiple people shot at this after-hours club. We know of at least 5, but there were probably more many were just not cooperative  and many left the scene.”

The chief added that if anyone knows where Lewis is located to contact Euclid police detectives right away.

“We would like to speak to her and get her side of the story on this incident,” the chief said. “It is important we contact her as soon as possible.”
