Warrant issued for bicycle-riding suspect in Las Vegas triple-shooting that left 2 women dead
LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Police have identified the bicycle-riding suspect wanted in a shooting that left two women dead and a man injured as they were standing in the parking lot of a 24-hour slots bar in the east valley.
Documents identify the suspect as Jason Manuel who has prior arrests in Nevada and a 2004 conviction in California. The March 5 shooting was not random. Las Vegas Metropolitan police said the male victim, who was shot in his left wrist, told police he was shot by “his best friend Jason” who also goes by “S” or “S Loc” because the two were in a feud that began when “Jason’s wife asked (the victim) for help pushing Meth.”

The Clark County coroner’s office identified the two women killed as Summer Lange, 29, who died at the scene from a perforating gunshot wound in her back, and Rona A. Ah-foon, 29, who died of a perforating gunshot wound of the pelvis. Ah-foon was the male victim’s wife.
Documents said he told police the three were at the front door of the business
Through witnesses and surveillance video, the warrant said police determined the three were regular customers of the establishment and were standing at the front door of the business when Manuel, also a frequent customer, rode by on a bicycle and opened fire. Lange died in the parking lot. Ah-Foon died later at the hospital.
Police also learned nearly a week earlier, that the male victim told others Jason had shot at him while he was at a bus stop near the slots bar. Although the shooting was reported on the night of March 1, when police arrived at the scene, no one was there but they did collect a spent bullet cartridge which was later matched to evidence at the murder scene, according to the documents.
According to the warrant, Manuel was arrested in California in 2004 for aggravated mayhem, murder, robbery, and other charges which resulted in a conviction. It doesn’t specify on what charges he was convicted.
