Warmer weather inches closer Wednesday in Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Wednesday starts off cool and gloomy, mostly dry.

Morning temperatures drop to the upper 30’s. Similar to Tuesday, your daytime highs reach the low to mid 50’s. The sun starts breaking through those clouds by the afternoon.

A few lingering showers early Wednesday morning means snow may continue to hug the Cascades for the first few hours of daylight.

Mt. Hood Meadows just measured 12″ of snow in 24 hours. Expect winter driving conditions over mountain passes on Wednesday. Then it’s game on for sunshine!

We’re still expecting a substantial warm-up starting Thursday. So get ready for a dramatic wardrobe shift in what’s considered a very rare event for March.
