Warmer for Tuesday, storm chances primarily for eastern areas

What We’re Tracking

  • Isolated showers/storms

  • Storms possible east Tuesday

  • Still mild through the week

A few isolated showers and storms are possible through tonight with temperatures only falling into the upper 60s by early Tuesday morning. Additional storms are possible on Tuesday, with the better chance setting up to the east along a cold front pushing through late Tuesday. Ahead of that front, highs will reach the middle to upper 80s Tuesday.

Most areas should quiet down and cool down a bit through the middle of the week with highs in the upper 70s both Wednesday and Thursday. Sunny to partly cloudy weather is expected, but we’ll be watching a few disturbances that could bring a few more clouds in at times.

However, another system brings a chance for scattered showers and storms by Thursday night into part of Friday. Some of the showers could linger into early Saturday before clearing out. High temperatures should start to warm back into the lower 80s for the weekend.
