Warmer and drier weather to start the week
Monday morning is off to a cold and clear start. Temperatures are below freezing in much of northern and west-central New Mexico, so be sure to bundle up! Temperatures are even cool in central New Mexico and the Metro, where they have dropped into the low 40s.

It will be a warmer, mild afternoon. Temperatures will warm into the 70s and 80s across most of the state. Skies will stay clear for all, and winds will be light at about 10 to 25 mph. Similar conditions are expected Tuesday, with even warmer temperatures through Wednesday. The winds will become breezier on Wednesday, and a cold front will move into the state on Thursday, bringing cooler temperatures.
