Shower chances persist in forecast as warmup continues

TONIGHT: Cloudy, Stray Light Shower. Lo 62.

TUESDAY: Mostly Cloudy, Stray Shower. Hi 78. Lo 62.

WEDNESDAY: Showers & Storms Before Daybreak. Hi 83. Lo 58.

Presence of clouds really hampered our ability to achieve significant warming Monday. We did still manage to hit that 70 degree mark in several places. Lows overnight won’t cool too much, only managing the low 60s. This is once again due to the clouds but also with some small influence by shower potential overnight as well. Most will stay dry, but a a light shower or two will be possible while we sleep.

Tuesday will bring partly sunny skies and a decent afternoon with highs in the upper 70s. A stray shower is possible, but again, much of Tuesday will be dry too. Tuesday night could bring scattered showers and thunderstorms as a line of convection moves through ahead of a front. This could bear watching as it may be the most active period early this week. Wednesday looks mostly sunny and warm with highs in the 80s. Thursday may be the wettest day with scattered showers and storms likely throughout the day. Behind Thursday’s wet weather, temperatures cool off again heading into the weekend. Stay tuned as we tweak and fine-tune the timing of these daily rain chances each day. We’ll keep on top of it for you.
