Warm weather continues into Sunday; showers possible

(PINPOINT WEATHER) — After a rainy Friday, we started off the weekend on a nice note with plenty of sunshine and highs in the 70s. The comfortable weather will stick around overnight, with lows holding in the upper 40s and lower 50s under partly cloudy skies.

Sunday will be another nice day, but things will begin to change late in the day as a cold front pushes in from the west. Highs will top out around 70 degrees on Sunday afternoon. Look for the cloud cover to increase as the day rolls on, with a stray shower or two possible. It’s a very slight chance for showers late in the day and at night on Sunday, with most locations remaining dry.

Behind the front, skies will quickly clear on Monday, giving us mostly sunny skies to start the week. Temperatures will also be cooler, with highs topping out in the upper 50s on Monday. The sunshine is expected to stick around through Thursday before another round of rain moves in on Friday.

Tonight: Partly cloudy. Lo: 50
